Chapter I

In the name of God, the Most Beneficial, the Most Merciful.  I would like to thank Almighty Allah, without whom nothing is possible for his blessings and guidance. I would like to thank my parents for teaching me what is right and what is wrong. All the right things I have ever done is down to them and every wrong thing I have ever done is my sole responsibility. May God forgive me, and may God grant everyone I have ever harmed willingly or unwillingly the strength to forgive me.

I would like to express my gratitude to my political mentor Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State for his consistent support and guidance. I must mention our great party, the All Progressive Congress, (APC) for providing a platform so I can help as many people as I can. Indeed, that is the ultimate goal of public service. Similarly, eternal gratitude to my team in the Abuja Office and the Constituency Office in Kaduna. All our achievements are as a result of your steadfastness and commitment. Thank you for being patient with me, despite my countless flaws.

To the people I intend to continue speaking directly to via this blog, my fellow Nigerians, particularly the people of Kaduna North, I am indebted to all the words of encouragement and criticisms over the past six months. It has increased my courage and confidence. With all humility, you have kept me going despite all the challenges I have faced since emerging as a Federal Lawmaker. I am fully focused, and I know what I need to do for my people. Alhamdulliah for the focus that God has granted. I intend to maximize each day for the next four years for the benefit of the people I represent. So help me God.

Without further ado, I present my personal blog. It is called the MBE Blog. It will be located on my personal website, BelloElRufai.com and will be an ideal platform to communicate our achievements and future plans for the public. It also provides us with opportunity to engage and interact with the public in order to improve our initiatives. Whilst social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X are necessary, the MBE Blog provides a one stop shop to collate vital data in order to enhance our performance for your benefit.

The goal is to create a community that engages in a civil and transparent manner. To create a community of young like-minds regardless of religious, ethnic or partisan affiliation. Collectively, we must aim to create a safe space for innovative ideas, insightful dialogue regardless of our socio-economic status, as we embark on the collective task of nation building. I believe changing the orientation of young Nigerians to become honest, dedicated and patriotic citizens is the foundation for collective prosperity in order to create a more egalitarian society. I implore you sign up and join me as we unleash our untapped but enormous potential.

Thank you.

MBE.
